Our Story

“Our Story – Where It All Started”

Whitetail Company was built from two lifelong passions—creating art and chasing whitetails.

What started as sketches inspired by the outdoors quickly became something bigger. Every design is rooted in the traditions of hunting, time spent in the woods, and the memories made with family and friends. We wanted to create apparel that represents the lifestyle we live, not just the seasons we hunt.

From our first hat to every new product we release, our goal has remained the same: build high-quality gear with original artwork that hunters and outdoor enthusiasts are proud to wear every day.

Whitetail Company isn’t just about clothing—it’s about preserving a way of life, creating new traditions, and sharing a passion for the outdoors with the next generation.

What You Need
• Flexible steel tape (1/8” increments)
Cable or string (for main beam)
• Pencil + score sheet
• Flat surface
• Wait at least 60 days after harvest (for official score)
Step-by-Step Scoring (Typical Frame)
1. Inside Spread
• Measure widest inside distance between main beams
• Held perpendicular to skull
• Counts once only
• Cannot exceed longest main beam
2. Main Beam Length (x2)
Measure each beam from:
• Burr (base) → tip of beam
Follow the center of the curve
Tip: Use a cable, then measure cable length
3. Tine Lengths (G1, G2, G3, etc.)
Measure each point that is:
•At least 1 inch long
•Longer than it is wide at 1” from tip

How: Measure from top of beam to tip of tine

Typical points:
• G1 = brow tine
• G2 = first main tine
• G3, G4, etc.
4. Circumference (Mass) Measurements (H1–H4)
Take 4 measurements per side:
• H1: Smallest between burr & G1
• H2: Between G1 & G2
• H3: Between G2 & G3
• H4: Between G3 & G4

If no G4, place H4 halfway between G3 and beam tip
