Our Story

Our Story – Where It All Started

Whitetail Company was founded in 2020  by Karen and Russ Morgan.

The company was built from two lifelong passions—Russ’s love for creating art and chasing whitetails, and Karen’s unwavering support behind the scenes. While Russ is often in the woods or at the drawing table creating the next design, Karen is the backbone of the business, keeping everything running day after day. Together, they built Whitetail Company as a family business dedicated to the outdoor lifestyle.

Their two sons, Blaine and Dalton, are also an important part of the business. From setting up booths and helping customers at trade shows to contributing ideas and supporting daily operations, the entire Morgan family works together to grow the brand.

Today, the Morgan family travels across the country attending some of the nation’s premier outdoor shows, meeting customers face-to-face and sharing their passion with fellow hunters. When they’re not on the road, you’ll find them chasing whitetails throughout the Northeast and Midwest, creating the experiences and memories that inspire every design.

What started as hand-drawn artwork inspired by the outdoors has grown into a brand for hunters and outdoor enthusiasts who live the lifestyle every day. Every design reflects time spent in the woods, respect for hunting traditions, and the moments shared with family and friends.

From our very first hat to every product we release today, our mission has remained the same: create high-quality apparel and gear featuring original artwork that people are proud to wear in the field and in everyday life.

Whitetail Company is more than clothing it’s family, tradition, hard work, and a shared passion for the outdoors. Thank you for supporting our family business and for being part of our journey.

Our Passion. Your Lifestyle.

Step-by-Step Scoring (Typical Frame)
1. Inside Spread
• Measure widest inside distance between main beams
• Held perpendicular to skull
• Counts once only
• Cannot exceed longest main beam
2. Main Beam Length (x2)
Measure each beam from:
• Burr (base) → tip of beam
Follow the center of the curve
Tip: Use a cable, then measure cable length
3. Tine Lengths (G1, G2, G3, etc.)
Measure each point that is:
•At least 1 inch long
•Longer than it is wide at 1” from tip

How: Measure from top of beam to tip of tine

Typical points:
• G1 = brow tine
• G2 = first main tine
• G3, G4, etc.
4. Circumference (Mass) Measurements (H1–H4)
Take 4 measurements per side:
• H1: Smallest between burr & G1
• H2: Between G1 & G2
• H3: Between G2 & G3
